Acer’s Predator Atlas 8 is scheduled to go on sale in the United States on November 1, exclusively at Best Buy, priced at 1,299.99 dollars. The Verge reports these details in an article published on October 27. This is the first official US launch of an Acer handheld gaming console, although the brand has already announced several devices in its Predator and Nitro ranges.

The variant in question is designated Intel Arc G3 Extreme. Its configuration includes Arc B390 graphics components with 12 Xe3 cores, alongside 24 GB of LPDDR5x memory. The 8-inch screen runs at 120 Hz. The device has dual-mode triggers and TMR joysticks, and can be used in handheld mode or with a dock.

The system runs Windows 11 and supports Xbox Game Pass, according to The Verge. These specifications describe the announced configuration and uses; they do not establish this version’s gaming performance or battery life.

Preorders opened the previous week at Best Buy have already sold out, the outlet reports. Acer says online orders will reopen on November 1, alongside in-store availability. The preorder sellout provides information about the state of the initial supply, but the article gives no sales volume.
